“Hide Me” is a simple yet deep selection from the prophetic chapter Profits and Losses. It speaks to abiding in Christ alone in the midst of trials and tribulations. I thought it was applicable to today’s current global pandemic events effecting the entire world. In relation to abiding, it also speaks to both salvation and judgement in the earth, using elements and metaphors of a rock and fire, which contain much biblical interpretation related to salvation and judgement, Christ and the Holy Spirit, faith, witness, cleansing, judgement, and more. When God moves in such ways upon the earth, there is no place to run and hide. We can only run to and hide in Him. We need to abide in God.

When He strikes the earth with a rock,
When He strikes the earth with a fire,
What will you do and where will you go,
When there is nowhere to run and hide?

Will you abide?
Then what will you say in those days?
Will you stay?
With who and where will you reside?

What will you do and where will you go,
To whom shall you run and hide?
When He strikes the earth with a rock,
When He strikes the earth with a fire
